Roy's Story (Overdose Awareness & Addiction Awareness)

In loving memory of Roy Hensley July 14, 1976- July 01,2017. Brother of Nichole Potts, a dear friend of the whole Havenlee Anchored Treasures family. She shares a little piece of him with us below.

"Roy was a lover of football and sports. He battled addiction all of his life. Had long-term sobriety and tried to help others get into the program and get straightened out. He did a lot of service work for the community. Worked hard and loved God. He would do anything to help someone in the AA program and took it serious! Most of all he loved his family! He had a passion for people and preaching!  I have to believe that God saw him fight, saw him win , saw him lose and said Son your battle is over it is time to come home! Drugs take beautiful people!"
